Biography

Hi,

I am a Finnish actor based in Sydney, Australia. I was born in 1985 in Vaasa, on the Finnish west coast and spent my early years in Uppsala, Sweden before moving back to Finland at the age of six. Growing up on my father’s ranch in a small community outside of Vaasa, I helped with farming until I completed my compulsory military service in the Finnish Air Force at the age of 18, where I served as a team leader.

During this time, I was tasked with playing a range of characters to train military police teams in several drills. I was so deeply invested in the characters that my team members couldn’t recognize me anymore, which sparked my interest in the fascinating world of acting. Upon returning to civilian life, I began to develop ideas for my future as an actor.

In the years that followed, I worked at a car dealership, honing my skills in improvisation, all the while preparing for my grand vision to leave my old life behind and pursue acting full time. In December 2014, I sold everything I had and set out on a journey to find my calling, travelling the world and following my instincts.

I landed in Sydney in March 2015, where a new chapter in my life began. I soon found a local talent agent to represent me and in July received my first role as a guard in the sci-fi TV series “Cleverman.” This was followed by roles in the Australian drama series “The Code,” and in Mel Gibson’s film “Hacksaw Ridge,” playing an American WWII soldier. This inspired me to further my studies in acting and in 2016, I enrolled at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Since then, I have played a variety of characters, including an Australian police officer in the Korean film “Single Raider,” a murder witness in the New Zealand thriller TV series “Top of the Lake,” a street punk in “Bleeding Steel (2017),” and even myself in “Descent (2020).”

Currently, I am working in Sydney on several projects, including my own film productions. I am eager to continue growing as an actor and bringing captivating characters to life on screen.
